This paper describes the development of a simulation model using TRNSYS of a building integrated ground source heat pump with a cold phase change material thermal energy storage unit in a lightweight commer-cial building located in Marseille, France. The de-velopment of the overall system model involved the construction of individual models to simulate various components in the building, including a PCM tank, fan coil units, pumps, an air handling unit and the heat pump. The construction of each of the models is dis-cussed, as well as validation and incorporation of each component into a system model.
