The evaluation questionnaire of the 40th AIVC conference: “From Energy crisis to sustainable indoor climate – 40 years of AIVC” was sent out to the 204 attendees of the event. 102 participants filled in the evaluation form. We are happy to share with you a summary of the main results!
General outcomes:
Following the 1st EPBD article 19a stakeholder meeting which took place in June 2019 and where stakeholders discussed the state of the art regarding existing schemes in relation to the inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems and optional building renovation passports, the 2nd stakeholder meeting aims to present the impact analyses and discuss the relevance, feasibility and possible scope of measures at EU-level.

The symposium "Activities of IEA TCP on Energy in Buildings and Communities (EBC TCP)", organised by Dutch Flemish Buildings Physics Association (NVBV) and the Belgian Building Research Institute (WTCB-CSTC-BBRI), took place on the 11th of June 2019 in Brussels, Belgium from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. . During this event activities of various Technical Collaboration Programmes (TCP) of the International Energy Agency were presented with a focus on the energy reduction in the built environment and the reduction of CO2- emissions.
The abstract submission deadline for the 40th AIVC - 8th TightVent - 6th venticool joint conference "From Energy crisis to sustainable indoor climate – 40 years of AIVC" to be held on October 15-16, 2019 in Ghent, Belgium, has been extended to 7 April, 2019.
The conference programme will include well‐prepared and structured sessions focused on the conference topics, invited speakers, long and short oral presentations arising from the call, as well as 90 seconds industry presentations.
