The AIVC – TightVent - venticool 2022 joint Conference “Ventilation Challenges in a Changing World", organized by the International Network on Ventilation and Energy Performance (INIVE) on behalf of the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC), the Building and Ductwork Airtightness Platform (TightVent Europe), the international platform for resilient ventilative cooling (venticool) & the Dutch Organization for Applied Scientif

The 41^st AIVC – ASHRAE IAQ joint Conference, co-organized by ASHRAE & AIVC, was held on 4-6 May 2022 in Athens. The event drew around 185 participants (in person and remotely) – academic researchers, engineering and consulting firms, industry representatives, people involved in standardisation, policy makers, manufacturers & stakeholders and international organizations.

The 41^st AIVC – ASHRAE IAQ joint Conference, co-organized by ASHRAE & AIVC, was held on 4-6 May 2022 in Athens. The event drew around 185 participants (in person and remotely)  – academic researchers, engineering and consulting firms, industry representatives, people involved in standardisation, policy makers, manufacturers & stakeholders and international organizations.

During the event, two topical sessions dedicated to building and ductwork airtightness were organized.

We would like to inform you that the abstract submission deadline for the 42^nd AIVC - 10^th TightVent - 8^th venticool conference “Ventilation Challenges in a changing world" to be held on 5-6 October, 2022 in Rotterdam, has been extended.

Abstract submission is still open and due April 26, 2022. 

The date of the conference "IAQ 2020: Indoor Environmental Quality Performance Approaches Transitioning from IAQ to IEQ”, organized by ASHRAE and AIVC, is approaching. The conference will be held on 4-6 May 2022 in Athens, Greece at the Wyndham Grand Athens as an in-person conference with a hybrid track.

The 42^nd AIVC Conference “Ventilation Challenges in a changing world" will be held on October 5-6, 2022, at the Hilton Hotel, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It will be a joint event combined with the 10^th TightVent and the 8^th venticool conferences.

The conference programme will include well‐prepared and structured sessions focused on the conference topics, invited speakers and long and short oral presentations arising from the call.

We are pleased to announce that the AIVC 2022 Conference “Ventilation Challenges in a changing world" is now accepting abstracts & proposals for topical sessions. The Conference will be held on October 5-6, 2022, at the Hilton Hotel, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It will be a joint event combined with the 10^th TightVent and the 8^th venticool conferences.

The preparations for the 42^nd AIVC-10^th TightVent- 8^th venticool conference have started. It is the intention to have this conference in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on 5-6 October 2022. Because of COVID-19 uncertainty of conditions to hold a face-to-face conference in Athens in September 2021, ASHRAE and AIVC decided to postpone the conference and reschedule it for May 4-6, 2022. There will not be a new call for abstracts for the rescheduled conference dates.
