The latest issue of the International Energy Agency's Energy in Buildings and Communities (IEA-EBC) Programme newsletter has been released. The April 2021 edition contains information about IEA-EBC's new research activities, a country focus on Austria, upcoming webinar announcements, and links to EBC webinar recordings and recent publications..

Because of COVID-19 uncertainty of conditions to hold a face-to-face conference in Athens in September 2021, ASHRAE and AIVC decided to postpone the conference and reschedule it for May 4-6, 2022. There will not be a new call for abstracts for the rescheduled conference dates.

AIVC's Ventilation Information Paper no 42: The Concept for Substituting Ventilation by Gas Phase Air Cleaning has just been released! The paper discusses and evaluates the pros and cons by partly substituting required ventilation by gas phase air cleaning.
