This paper presents the development of a model, using TRNSYS, of a large central cooling and heating plant.
It contains publications and abstracts of articles related to energy efficient ventilation. Where possible, sufficient detail is supplied in the bibliographic details for users to trace and order the material via their own libraries. Topics include: ventilation strategies, design and retrofit methods, calculation techniques, standards and regulations, measurement methods, indoor air quality and energy implications etc.
Entries are based on articles and reports published in journals, internal publications and research reports, produced both by university departments and by building research institutions throughout the world. AIRBASE has grown and evolved over many years (1979 to present day, over 22000 references and 16000 documents available online). For most of the references, the full document is also available online.
Access to the publications is free of charge.

A detailed model of the Net Zero Energy Town House in Toronto is developed in TRNSYS.
Many building related products and systems such as insulation, solar shading, reflective roof coverings have an important impact on the energy performance of the building where it is installed.
Evaporative cooling is able to generate the cooling medium at a temperature approaching to the ambient wet bulb temperature.
ROOM is a dynamic thermal simulation model that has been continuously developed at Arup over the last 30 years. It remains one of the principal tools used for thermal modelling within Arup.
The operation of air-cooled chillers accounts for significant energy consumption in local commercial buildings, and low operational efficiency especially under partial load conditions and poor cont
As a part of commissioning case study, the cooling ceiling system of a commercial building in Brussels is experimentally evaluated by means of a functional test procedure and a detailed thermal mod
This paper presents a methodology to evaluate the influence of different components of the annual heating and cooling load of buildings, analyzing the energy performance of building surfaces that a
